Hi folks, just dropping in on the shiny new thread. Been raining cats, dogs, and just about everything else today. Planning a day at home tomorrow - might sort through some boxes and bits to see if there is anything to be added to the car booty (assuming that it's dry next week cos if it's like this there is zero chance of it happening
)

evening hales! recovered from your beerthday yet?
Saucy - enjoy your pampering - would love one of those then go shopping with Aunty Gok, then out for a meal with Stephen Fry and Frankie Boyle. (dont know what that says about me!)
Nixi - def up for that but still thinking about what would be best - would be better if a fruit cake - less chance of it being trashed in the post, and could make a silk flower topper of some kind ready for you to plonk on! but will keep plodding away with the ideas as would rather do something in icing and let you know ~(would probably be a couple of weeks as have 4 within the next 10 days).
evening Kerry, pity about the weather for youskintbint x

I'm not a makeover kind of person...I'm a dungarees and football kinda girl, and I don't want pretty pink nails and ringlets...it's just not very me. Everyone sees the same though, guess its the blonde hair! I'll post the pictures afterwards if anyone is interested.
I love Stephen Fry...and Hugh Laurie. Was just reading that he gets £290,000 per episode of House...wow!
Hi Kerry, the weather is the same here. Yukky.
Hi Hales
(Am feeling oddly happy. Shall enjoy it)

Hi everyone. Had a really lazy day today - I seriously think I would turn into a couch potato if my life allowed it! Thankfully I don't get too many opportunities, how boring I'd be!
My DB and DSIL are at a caravan in good old Skeggie with the kids at the moment and I'm going to join them for a couple of days next week. Not been in a caravan since we were kids, so will be interesting to see how quickly the novelty will wear off, lol.
Bit unsettled about going away and leaving the zoo here, but I've got good friends who are going to call in regularly to make sure the kittens haven't got themselves stuck in any drawers, under the cooker or up the back of the radiator while I'm gone - they are at that stage where they think everywhere needs investigating thoroughly and it doesn't half keep you on your toes! They can get in the tiniest of places.
The best bit is that I'm then off work for a full week and a bit!! Yay!! Have the longest list ever of jobs to do but I'm hoping that I'll get everything done and my next holiday at Xmas will just be one big chill out.
Been spending some time reading people's diaries on the Mortgage Free board, it really motivates me to get mine paid off as quickly as I can. I get quite excited at the idea.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
Joey - holiday in Skeggie sounds like it'll have great bits and crap bits
are you taking some good books in case it chucks it down? Ooh board games, and some ear plugs in case anyone snores lol!The kittens sound like great fun. I just want the rotty that jmrance has got though, so lovely!
Saucy, I hate even having to get my hair done so sympathies lol, bet you'll enjoy the result though. I remember winding my sister and brother up so much during summer! Just needed a rant, thanks all for virtual hugs
Skint, deep breaths are what I'll be using Wed to be calm for the driving test - in-two-three out-two-three lol! You're not unusual in wanting Stephen Fry round - he's the number one person on imaginary dinner guest lists apparently, and I reckon Frankie Boyle's not too far off. Who would everyone else invite? I'd definitely have Stephen Fry, he's so lovely to everyone, and I'd have Mike Patton and Trent Reznor to drool over, and I would have had Andy Garcia but he's grown a moustache and I've disowned him now. And you lot, wouldn't that be brilliant! And my best mate because she'd be highly disgusted if she wasn't invited. And I'd get takeaway because I can't cook lol and wouldn't want to be in the kitchen when there were people there I wanted to talk to...
Jo, that was funny, I was thinking 'aww' at all the 'hun's and then laughed at the end bit! They do miss their Papa when he's on nights, they ask for him a lot. We went to see Ripon Operatic do a load of show songs at the uni where they've been having a week's function and the kids didn't want to leave him, I was saying yesterday to a friend how well he's done and how much nicer a person he's seeming since he came off the weed. Makes me glad I stuck with it and glad for all of you who helped me through it a lot more than you probably realise.
Nixi, I'll do a cake topper for you happily but can you wait a bit for it? I'm a bit knackered lol! That's so good about your blog, I like it tooI need my website set up too, and that'll take about, oh, three years? - if I keep going at this rate...
Kerri, nice to virtually 'meet' you lol, fingers crossed the booty goes well for you - have you thought of doing any extra things, stuff you've made or things you can adapt to make more money? Can't think of anything off the top of my head but if you think about it while looking through your stuff might make you think of something?
Hi everyone else, off to the ville briefly, not that anyone else is around at this hour on a Sunday! xx xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
When you are ready hun, don't want to add to your pressure and the timing needs to be right for you!!! Just glad you want to do it yay!!!
