Hi all :) hope you're all well tonight - we've ad problems with the laptops and I hhave n't been able to get online much - spelling mistakes are due to there being a window popped up in front of the text box I'm typing into, I can't see half of it and I'd have to restart the stupid thing to sort it out...
I'm exhausted - DS is being incredibly demanding atm, and as OH is on nights I haven't had a minute to myself. I'm finding it really hard tbh, if it's not him wanting you constantly to speak to him or do things with/for him it's one of the others. It's incessant, he follows me around wanting to show me things, and he's seriously not lacking in attention, they all get one-to-one time -I think he's missing the stimulation he gets at school - they all keep fighting over who gets to sit on my knee, I wouldn't mind but I cuddle them all the time, they're hardly deprived of affection...aaaargh :( I don't think it's my stress coming out in them because I'm not actually stressed until they've been at it half the day...I've got a topper to do and I'm just too tired, it'll have to wait till tomorrow. Got loads of online stuff to do tbh but it'll keep I guess. Trying not to let it set me off on a pointless depression dip. For the last few days I've been trying to keep the kids occupied and the house reasonably clean, and all I'm getting is 'Huh' from DS, it seems like nothing I do is good enough, anyway that's my rant for todya. Off to bed in a grump lol. Hopefully be better tomorrow. Hugs all xx xx
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
  • Aww, I hope tomorrow is better Paula...my sisters were always dreadful in the Summer holidays too, it's a long time to go without their usual routine and stimulation. I hope they let up a bit and stop stressing you out!
    Lots of hugs x

    evening all,
    Paula deep breath, hun,
nixi - thats been a great response for your comp.
Saucy - now that you've booked it must really be hitting home- go girl, grab the opportunity with both hands!
Poosmate - good to hear from you, we'll do our best to motivate you and give you a boot up the bum!
Rosie - hope you got on well in the garden - would you like to come North for a couple of days?
Weather here was glorious today - but stood doing cupcakes for about 3 hours this afternoon, well chuffed with them though, how come you always have people drop in when your house is like a tip and you're really busy? treated myself to a new cake and baking book, cant wait to try some of the recipes (its more like an old fashioned baking book than fancy cakes)- sitting with a jersey on and a blanket round me really quite "airy" here tonight but in for a good day tomorrow if forecast anything to go by.

aw Paula - big big hugs. I have a DS who also talks incessantly and always wants to tell me stuff, show me stuff or ask me stuff. It can be exhausting. Be kind to yourself. maybe they are missing OH. You know he's at work and thats all but although they might "know" it emotionally they may be a bit unsettled and clingy. Sounds like you are doing great hun. sometimes our kids can make us feel really unappreciated hun but its not personal on their parts. You will get through hun and if you need hugs or rants you know where we are.
a few more big hugs to be going on with.
    Jo x
hmm how many times can I say hun in one post. thats what happens when you're being interrupted hehe.
