Also comes with 6 months free by redemption. It's from mobiles.co.uk and I've been reading lots of horror stories here about trouble people have had with their cashback deals. But frankly, even without the 6 months free it's still a hell of a deal.

The cheapest I've been able to get it with any of the mainstream shops is £30 a month on Vodafone with the same mins and texts and 1GB of Data (free phone too)

I had hoped to upgrade with O2 but they're not playing ball (I didn't expect them to beat or match this offer, but they didn't even try) and have forced my hand, and this deal looks really really good.

So, other than being terrible with cashback, how are mobiles.co.uk? If something goes wrong with the phone would I have to deal with them or Orange?

better off getting the deal from buymobilephones.net - works out about £22 a month on t mobile with 600 mins, loads of texts and unlimited data (fup is 1 gb but they don't charge you for going over). not put the link up so you can go through a cashback site.

That's pretty good, but T-Mobile don't have very good signal in my area, whereas I know Orange do

have you tried phone4u. I got the Orange panther contract through them, and for £32.50 per month and a 18mth contract you get 600min, 3000 texts and Unlimited mobile internet & email + sat nav with Orange maps + 50 photo messages and Unlimited calls to your Magic Numbers.

I just needed to find a contract that gave me a minimum of 600 mins as I use approx 550 per month. Oh, and the phone was free for both the above. Edited to add that Orange works better in my local area too

Go through a cashback website to get around 30 quid back, which brings the overall cost per month to around £22.

Orange and T-mobile are merging so within a month or so will be sharing each others network (and Three's as well I believe).

The plan is to first of all let T-mobile customers and Orange customers roam onto the other network free of charge which is due by the end of the summer.

On the whole I don't think T-mobile are that bad although I am probably comparing them to when I was first with one2one! I have found that they're not too good in the countryside though - on one trip to the Yorkshire Dales I did a manual network scan and could get every network, including three, but no T-mobile.

They do seem to have the best deals though so I think it is definitely something to keep in mind if network coverage is the only thing putting you off.
