2 Satellite feeds into 1 box

Hi, currently have my old sky dish and another dish pointing to astra 19.2.
On feeds into a freesat box, the other into my technomate tm 1500 box.
Would like to put both feeds into my technomate box but unsure how to, understand need diseqc switch? but how do they work and how are they fitted.
Also unsure which one to buy
