IMOH'sHO the Solano Sapphire straighteners are simply the best straighteners on the planet! She's tried so many straighteners and none of them beat the Soloano's which apparantly are used by many celebreties throughout Hollywood and in top notch salons. Not that I use them myself - but I've seen the results and they seem to be very good.
Very difficult to get hold of mind you - they're made in Italy, but only seem to available in the US and are quite pricy.
Oh - and they now come in dual voltage for somebody who asked.0 -

My g/f swore that GHDs were the best, and she's tried a few cheaper models so bought GHDs in April this year.
They're being returned to GHD this week as the ceramic is coming away, and the plastic around the base of the cable has cracked
GHD agreed that they'd need replacing...though she'll be lost for the next 2 weeks.
I think some of these [first post] may be the answer, and fire the GHDs off
