Hi,
Was in costco in derby today and saw they had the babyliss pro 230 tourmaline hair straighteners for undder 30 quid including VAT!!!
After researching on the internet about ghd's I came across these for my missus at a third of the price and according to the good lady and her mates they are as good as her freinds 90 pound GHD's and unlike the GHD's they have a five year gurantee!!
Grab yourselves a bargain, think they are in boots at the moment on offer for around 30 something as well!

I wouldn't trade my GHDs for anything else. I've tried all the makes and spent far more on useless straighteners than if I had just gone for my expensive GHDs in the first place. You get what you pay for0

You cannot beat GHD's although at a third of the price, may be worth trying....Girls- what did we do before GHD's? It's frightening......lol0

Nothing lost trying, Costco returns policy is second to none.. if you try them for a while and don;t like then just take them back.HLK

hi i have these and would recommend them. they are just as good as the ghd if not better. this is because they heat up to 230 degrees where as ghd heat up to about 210. everyone raved about ghds 2-3 years ago as most straightners you could buy only heated up to about 180 degrees so these were the best, but personally having had both i wouldn't waste money on ghd again0

My sister hit the nail on the head tonight whilst disgussing our GHD's.... they were some pretty ugly people around before GHDs!!!
I was sooo lost without mine when I was on holiday just last week, the volts were too high for any adapter other than a HUGE box thing! I looked like a 'scragbag' (bf's kind words, not mine) for the whole holiday and on all our photo's0 -
20 quid to join costco and it seems to discriminate about who it lets in (ie must be a member of civil service etc) so do not think I will be joining soon

So had a quick scoot around and these things get rave reviews on amazon for 40 notes, but boots want a whacking 50% more for em!
PS, yes GHDs did turn ugly people in to shallow ones

LX Direct have these for £39.99 and I think there is a code floating aroung for £15 off first order and free p&p.
I love my GHD's, but might try these for OD as it is getting to be a bit of a fight in our house in the mornings0 -
Don't write off trying alternative straighteners.. I have the thickest, baddest, curly hair in the whole of England (sure I have!) and my new Remmingtons are superb and do the trick in no time (takes me about 10-15 mins with them).0

My mum had quite long curly hair, and she taught us to use the iron! Nice ceramic sole plate, top results! When we were teenagers she always used to iron our hair for us if we were going to a disco.0 -
remington wet to straights - fantastic, better than my GHDs0
