I just came across this phone (HTC EVO) which will be coming out in the next few months and it looks capable of blowing away the competitors, however the lack of 4G coverage could be it death

I just wanted to know what other people think

4G not a fair bit away yet? Wouldn't think it would hurt it too much without it.

Are you sure it's being released here? I thought it was only ever going to be released in the USA.

Think its called the Ace here not Evo.4G is years away in the UK.

Think its going to be called the HTC Desire HD, it will share many things with the Evo but it is being made for Europe and as such will not be 4G.
If you want the best than it might be worth waiting as its likely to be a cracker with a 4.3" screen but fitted right to the edges of the case so its "nothing'ish" bigger than the 1st HTC Desire.
