My plan for 2007 is to attempt to e-bay - my house is full of junk! so it would be therapeutic for me to get rid and meke money!
I also hope to be debt free a few months earlier - do you fancy a challenge?0 -
Lol, I can never resist a challenge - I have one of those horrible personalities that always wants to win! MY OH refuses to play board games with me as I am always really pedantic and competetive (think Monica on Friends or David Walliams on last night's Big Fat Quiz of the Year)
What do you propose??
I may have to find new ways of money making though as my house is almost free of anything left to ebay!0 -
Though was obviously either really tired (or stupid) when I read your post as my debt free date is not actually the same as yours - could still have some sort of challenge though!0
-
No you are right my revised debt free date is Dec 2007 not as my sig says 2008. Just haven't updated - bit scared to put it in writing incase I fall flat on my face and cant keep up the momentum.
I think we must have similar personalities cos I also like to win!!!
This could be fun!0 -
Finally updated my sig!!!0

Hi Chocaholic, wow, well done on finding such good bargains in the sales - you might have spent a fair bit now, but you will have saved yourself a fortune in the long run, and how organised are you, doing your Xmas 2007 shopping now!?! I wish I could be like that!
Just 12 months until you are debt free!! Keep going and keep posting, I enjoy reading your thread, even if I don't always get chance to post (normally being attacked by boisterous 6 year old!)."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

So, how do you want the challenge to work? First to be debt free?0 -

Thanks, Snaggles. Got to admit I enjoy sales shopping - hate to buy anything that isn't reduced. My mentality has definitely changed though -this time last year I would have bought loads of things I didn't need but that were "bargains". This year it was "Do we need it? Will we use it? Can I get it cheaper anywhere else?"
How are you doing? Is your next scan soon?0 -

Yeah 1st to be debt free!
Might be useful to outline what we are paying off and how we are getting on - either in a separate thread or in the sig.0 -
I'm doing okay thanks, yes I've got my next scan on the 4th. I've just grown out of my last pair of non-maternity jeans (gutted!).
Thanks for asking xxx
