Well insurance was a no no, not covered and the excess is so flipping big that not worth claiming for the food either :mad:

I am proper hacked off actually, they doubled our insurance and for what? I feel like not bothering with it any more. GRRR.

Still on the upside we are getting a nice new fridge freezer delivered this afternoon from our local shop, on the downside- again - I had to raid one of my boys savings account for a bit towards it

It's at times like this that I miss being able to put stuff on the plastic.

Sorry to hear this Doucam. It does make you wonder why we pay out for some of these insurances, such a rip off sometimes :mad:

Good you are getting a replacement so quickly but I understand how you feel with the cost and finding that sort of money, its not easy.

My dishwasher (cant really compare to a fridge, cos its a luxury really ) died a death about 8 months ago. We just cant seem to get the money saved up to replace and as its not really essential, every time we do get a bit put by then something else crops up that is essential and we are wiped out again. Just cant win !!

Must say bye for now Loo, Mr AP just got home and we have a trip to the vets to look forward to ! More expense Nothing serious though, just the annual booster for doglee.
