He said last night I was a 'mug' and 'stupid' for not wanting to pursue the RNLI job. I said that perhaps his answer should have been 'well done, you deserve it and I will back you with your decision'.
I always seem to come to these discussions very late but I do have;
1. Painting to do
2. Grouting to do
I think BB's OH has a certain charm. He's like the complete opposite of positive so consistantly EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Sorry BB - I probably shouldn't comment as I know neither of you....BUT you seem really nice.

Kayleigh, I agree with the others. I was left some money from my grandad when I was a baby, and used it to buy my first car so I could get to sixth form. I had to sell my car to pay some debts, and feel bad that I don't have anything to remember him by, but because of the money I got my A levels, and I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted me to struggle with debt.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Yup, I guess that is one of the reasons why I am so determined to give my kids a good start.
Every single thing we have we have worked for ourselves, I have had money taken from my purse as a teenager and made to hand pay packets over from a Saturday job while someone indulged in expensive hobbies.
Not so much as a Birthday card or even Christmas card has come any of our ways for years.
My Mam has grown in strength now but for years I held onto resentment for her not being strong enought to stand up to his behaviour.
frickin hell, where did that come from:eek::o:rotfl:
I just got word that I have been accepted onto the final year of a BA (hons) course, just the small matter of having to pass my exams which the results are out on Monday and this time next year I will be graduating with an honours degree in accounting and finance.
I couldnt afford my first graduation for teaching so I shall be having a party for this one:beer:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
