Yep sounds like what I shall have to do. The blind in the kitchen window is covered in cobwebs, black with dirt and grease

Sally, if it was the week after next I would love to come and help. I have a week off then with nothing planned.

Sally, take some photos if you can....When we moved in here the letting agents said it had been cleaned really well.....well their idea of clean and mine were 2 different things. There were giant hairballs of dog hair wafting around. I got them to have all the carpets cleaned again before I moved in. I think the standard that most places are left in is so bad that this actually was good in their eyes. Nothing like scrubbing someone elses dirt out of the bath to make you realise just how scummy some people are.

I will be getting one soon, thankfully I have maxi strength Peptobismol from USA (which we bought as OH had the runs followed by constipation on holiday)

You know that you love someone when you are asked to have a look at their bum hole to check out the size of a pile and then say OK as if they have asked you to change the channel on the TV.

I'm back! Having a lovely celebratory evening with hubby. We've made mushroom soup together for our camping trip and he is making enchilladas while I pack - best of all we are about to crack open some bubbly we have been saving for a special occasion!

Sal - that's a pity about the mess :( but just think, then it will feel even better when you get it all done! I am in Kent next week (Thursday I think) I can come by and help you scrub if you like :)

Beanie - hope the tummy feels better soon

Pooky - I put up some progress photos on my Garden photo album on FB
