Dug out my old motorola with £1.78 credit on it . Not been used for a month or 2 . Did not work , no reply texts came it did take the money for them . I tried it twice . Never mind I am happy that it worked on my main phone .

Whilst I've read it can take up to 48hours, I texted last night, still haven't had a conformation text back, yet so many people state an almost immediate reply

Didn't work on mine, but I only recently got it and the first £10 credit which came with the sim was applied after activating, so I take it that this doesn't count as a top-up.

Just done mine and got an immediate text back - tesco mobile have been messing me about so much recently that they owe me this £5 and more!
