got my first talktalk (inc free broadband) bill why is it 40 squid? what number to a need to set my pc to dial?

you do not need a dialup number with broadband.... if you have set it up correctly, it should be using the nice modem that they sent sent you instead of the one you normally use..... it sounds like you have been using an exisiting pay as you go connection instead of broadband0
