All I was saying on iTunes losing track of files if you move them around is that you don't need to re-rip them, rather you just have to tell iTunes where they are, eg. by dragging & dropping in the MP3 files
If you do that, you end up with two sets of them in the iTunes library - one set that iTunes can't find the next time you want to sync, play or update, and one that it can. Then you have to decide if you want to go through the library and delete those it can't find.......0 -
