No-one on ebay this weekend??

Usually most of my stuff sells pretty well, but the vast majority of stuff ending this weekend hasn't sold, and even the items that have sold are not being paid for very quickly. Usually I find buyers pay within the first 24 hours of sales but am still waiting for loads.

And what is really frustrating is everything has several watchers but no bidders.

Is everyone away this weekend??

A number of people are having problems getting onto ebay, for me it is intermittent, I can't go on at the moment at all. This is because 10 days ago there was a 5p listing day so everyone listed everything (I know I did) and is clogging up normal sales.

I am happily bidding away on 5 items at the moment. More clothes I don't really need, but (so far) they are a bargain!

I had my good 5p listing sales finish on Thursday, and they didn't do too badly. Today I have ending items I didn't think would sell - items are quite rare, but so are the buyers! So with no one watching my auctions I will not be blaming the 5plisting day fallout.
Bidding might start again in the evening, when people get back from their day in the sun.

I always use the ESE (ending sunday evening) for ebay.

Most of my auctions are doing okay today, half will sell. Recently have u noticed more winners not paying for things? Also one winner asked me to post something to Nigeria and could he pay by bank transfer, he was on holiday in Britain from Oz or something or other. Dodgy beans.

I see. Well, I'm not having problems getting on. Able to check regularly to see that I still have no bids and no payments (Sorry, I'm very impatient!)

They do have 4 hours to go so hopefully loads of people will come home from a day out and decide I have everything they need on sale (and obviously several people will all want them and get into a bidding war...well, I can but dream!!)

As for non-paying bidders, have had my firat ever this week, not from Nigeria though, or not that I'm aware.

I've just missed the end of an auction for something I wanted - because I couldn't log on for 15 minutes - how frustrating.

I listed quite a bit 10 days ago too (just like the rest of the UK no doubt) - at least I'll know why auctions end low tonight if people can't get on to bid.

I have been dipping in and out of ebay all day and have no problems at all AND the item I listed before, that didn't sell, now has a bid...... and I listed it last Sunday (not the 5p!!!)

My mobile sold for an extremely good price this evening. Fast Paypal payment by a seller with good feedback with a credit card on file, with confirmed and legit address.
