O2 35/400 cost of voicemail

I have an O2 35 (sometimes called O2 400) with CPW. When I took this out about 2 or 3 weeks ago, their site said the cost of voicemail on this tariff was FREE (you would assume this is what it sounds like). This was later confirmed by a welcome "summary" letter i got from O2. It also states on the O2 site voicemail access is free for contracts of £35+
However, my first bill arrived... and it states the cost of voicemail access is 20p/min in the tariff price table.
So, i called CPW yesterday... and the operator said it comes out of your minutes... So what is it exactly? Is it actually "FREE".... does it come out of the minutes? (not exactly what i would call free!), or is it 20p/min?
Because I feel misled....

Nevermind.... Just called O2 at CPW again.... who have finally cleared it up.... voicemail IS free and does not come out of inclusive minutes on 35ppm contracts.
How do these companies get it so wrong? Please excuse me while I go bang my head against a wall.........0 -
Don't worry, so long as it got fixed in the end it's all right. It's usually just a computer records error and they do happen.0
