IKEA sofa problems

just reporting the latest update, had an UPHOLSTERER round tonite sent by IKEA and he took photos etc, anyway asked me to sign a form to say i would be happy for him to add an inch of foam to the original foam inside the covers!!this would be glued he said(what!!) i said no i wouldnt be happy :mad: well would you?he said he would quote for all the pads back and front to be done, I said should a new sofa need this he said trading standards allow for so many percentage to disapear in the first 3to 6 months , what aload of b*****ks! I think and so does hubby.
he said to wait 5-10 days for his report to get to head Office.I would like to discuss this with someone from IKEA like management to sort it out once and for all, whick I will try to do over the next couple of days.Will let you know, but seriously once you start glueing foam to foam surely your going to make it worse?
