I won't be buying that house then...

My OH and I have just sold our house and thought we had found something really different.
It was one of them 2 storeys at the front, 3 storeys at the back jobbies. It had all the space we wanted and we could see so much potential.
We fell in love with it on the first viewing and knew that we would have to look with our heads the next time.
It was on at £114,500 so we offered £108,000, then we offered £112,000, and finally £114,000 if they would leave us the washing machine and dishwasher.
The house has been on the market since january and has had offers before.
Got a phone call yesterday from the estate agents saying that it had been removed from the market. The EA thinks that it will be back on with a different agent within a week.
I'm so fed up as we'd put the final offer in on tuesday and it took the vendors till saturday to turn it down.
Now, I've got to waste my sunday afternoon looking at all the local EA websites again

Better you find out now that they have rejected your offer than get gazumped in 2 months time.

Yes better it has happened now rather than 7 months down the line after all the legal work has been completed!!!
We have been in a chain since March and our vendors have now pulled out of 2 properties in the last 3 months and now cannot find anywhere,as prices in this area have rocketed and there is nothing in their budget.
We think they will take theirs off the market next week and re market it at a much higher price(which we won't be able to afford)
Not nice when we have been waiting for them for 6 months!!!
I'd much rather know at the beginning.0
