Tocco Lite - How To Get Out Of Paying £10 Topup?

Hi All,

I want to buy a Tocco Lite on o2 from Phones 4 U (It's only £58.95 there instead of £79.95 everywhere else).

However, you have to have £10 credit preloaded on to the Sim Card.

The problem is, I am already on giffgaff and do not want to go to another network. Is there anyway I can get out of paying the £10 top up? (I.e: will o2 transfer the topup to my contract).

If you can quote an O2 payg number as your own they'll wave the £10 top up. Mu lad bought an HTC Desire last week and we had some of the free O2 sim for the World cup offer, gave them one of those and no need for the extra tenner... (there are free O2 sims all over the net if you don't have one).

Well, that is the problem.

I have a free simplicity sim that I have not registered yet. And they said if I register it I won't have had it long enough to be eligible to wave the £10.

I might do that though, and buy the phone next week instead.
