On the phone, but this was on the intial loan the other 2 restructure loans this was just added without been offered, and because he believed it was not optional from first loan he just signed paperwork and accepted. But never was his employment status or health etc discussed. Loan Protection Insurance - Statement of Price which he signed states £33.02 a month which totals £1188.72, this was final loan which is now settled and although it does state on there optional because of intial conversation he thought this was just formality. And never was he offered cheaper alternative insurance. To be fair as he never received a Insurance policy booklet he does even know as he has always been self-employed if he was covered.

    Hiya

If I was your friend I would write to Lloyds and request for the full contact details of the business they have stated, full address and tel number, your friend has the right to have these.

And with not receiving the policy booklet details from when he taken out the loan, he should have received these also.

Hopefully the business will get back, but it would also be useful to request for the copy of the telephone recordings if he can, so as soon as he has the contact details, write to request for these, as these should help.;)
