Lloyds Loan

I am helping my friend reclaim PPI on 3 loans from Lloyds which were all processed on phone and on original loan he was advised in 2004 that PPI was not optional and then when he refinanced loans twice he just presumed he had to have PPI.
He is self-employed but on no occassion has any Sales Advisor discussed the policies or his eligability for this policy or his employment status.
I am now doing the letter for him but unsure if it has to be sent to Customer Care in Birmingham or Lloyds PPI Insurance in South Wales.
Is there any one who can advise which address they sent there PPI complaint letter to regarding Lloyds TSB loan.
Thanks:T

KIMY, get your friend to get hold of the policy booklet details, Lloyds should still provide them and free of charge as well, I'm sure someone else posted something like this the other day.
But all the details will be in the policy booklet.
If Lloyds set this policy up, its still their responsibility.;)

Many thanks, he never received a policy document. It was Lloyds who set this up he never even realised it was another broker and all paperwork received (i.e. back of loan agreement PPI monthly payments) he has all original paperwork. When he brings around response from Lloyds tonight l will let u know exact contents.
Thanks again for your help and advise.:T

    Hiya your very welcome.

Maybe they are trying to pull a fast one, but with it being Lloyds that sold this to him, then he is right as you know to pursue these.
    Good luck.:T;)X

Have the letter my friend received from Lloyds TSB Insurance and this states your insurance policy was originally sold by a company that is not part of Lloyds Banking group, l have forwarded your correspondence to the Personal Loan Service, they will responsible for your complaint. States the Personal Loan Servuce Centre EDS will be writing to you with their final response in future.
Can anyone advise my friend does this mean the Insurance group of Lloyds are not taking responsability but forwarding to Personal Loan side.
    Thanks:(
