buying out of orange contracts

hello everyone

I have been with orange since 2007. my first contract was for an lg viewty which was for £35 a month 600minutes and unlimited texts by the time upgrade time came its safe to say I was fed up of that awful phone so I upgraded to a Sony Ericsson w995 in august 2009 the handset was free and the contract was £30 a month for 18 months and the same unlimited texts and 600minutes and because I was a returning customer they threw in a 10% on all future bills.

I have to say I haven't been happy with the service at all. not only has every bill be pushing £40 I haven't seen a bit of this so called 10% off. I don't send any picture messages and I very very rarely use the internet on my phone and i understand this ridiculous £1.50 charge every month for the itemised bill, however I have just discovered I will not be able to end my contact until may 2011 which is 21 months not 18 months I will be able to upgrade my phone in February 2011 which is the 18 months.

long story short I am fed up with their over charging and would like to buy out of my contract if possible can anybody advise me how to do so?

Ring them up and ask to buy out, they will do the sum, at 21 months of £40 it's £840. I'm guessing that you have upgrade early during the contract? Hence your next upgrade date is before your contract end date.

Have you called c/s and told them about your concerns? It could be that there is just something wrong with the setup of your account.
