I know others have said it already, but it sounds as though the dress could be from Monsoon "seconds"; I agree with the others that Monsoon really isn't worth faking, it's easy enough as a seller to get hold of genuine Monsoon dresses at rock bottom prices.0

As someone who doesn't normally buy from ebay, this was a first I had ever heard of seconds or buying them in bulk as a wholesale.

Definately wouldnt think it was seconds or a copy....you could always take it back into a monsoon shop say it was a gift but the stitching is incredibly wonky.....you never know they might swap it for another one (A):rotfl:0

I think that wiould be extremely cheeky after several months has elapsed.
