Given that the OP was about Car Giant (or any other good car supermarket recommendations), your post wasn't very helpful.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0

Oh the irony...
Maybe your post would have been more helpful to the OP if you had stated you had an interest in the car market given you are a dealer yourself?Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Erm.... sorry i didnt see the point in dropping that into the thread, do you want age, location and yearly cash flow as well before i comment in a thread?
I am a dealer, however that had no effect on my comments on this thread, in general Car Supermarkets employ amazing salesmen whose job it is to sell vehicles, simple as that. The car that you see on the net is very rarely the car they will show you when you arrive, for the simple fact that the car has amazingly sold. They will then try to upsell you, it happens in every business and is fine, i was merely telling the OP that this is what happens in numerous car supermarkets. I have never been to Car Giant and did not comment on it.
I dont actually know what the fact of me being a dealer has to do with the thread though?0 -
The OP asked two questions:
Has anyone had any experience of using them [CarGiant]?
Any other good car supermarkets you have used and can recommend please?
Your answer stated that 'these' car supermarkets (hence also implying Car Giant) are hard selling businesses with questionable information on their websites and appeared to have taken offence to two posts stating that Car Giant is not like that (which was implied by you).
And in answer to your last point, with car supermarkets being in competition with you, some may consider that your comments would be biased against them.
But if you don't like my post then don't comment on it.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
They are not in direct competition with me, I sell high performance sports cars, car supermarkets sell Ford Focus' and VW Golfs etc on the whole so that is really not an argument.
They are hard selling businesses, what else do you class them as? They have targets to hit and they dont do that by inviting potential customers in and letting them wander round all alone without saying a word to them, get a grip.
Lets agree to disagree and move on.0 -

I would have moved on, just you couldn't resist the crass comment of 'get a grip' could you?
Read the OP closely, the question was about Car Giant specifically and indeed they do their selling by 'inviting potential customers in and letting them wander round all alone without saying a word to them'.
I have no idea about other car supermarkets, so I haven't commented on them, but you have implied comment on Car Giant which you have no idea about.
Moving on...Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0
