Call O2 Customer Services Free from your Mobile!
Found this elsewhere on the internet but couldn't find it on here surprisingly so thought I'd share...
You don't even have to have credit to do this.
I had a contract with Vodafone where I called 191 for customer services which is free, but today I used a Pay As You Go mobile with O2 where you're supposed to call 4445 which costs 25p per connection.
To get around this you need to call the O2 'Top Up Credit' number which is 4444
It will say to top up press 1 - so press 1.
Then it will ask you whether you wish to top up via credit/debit card (option 1) or voucher (option 2)
Choose option 1.
It will go on to eventually say enter your card number followed by a # but instead of doing that 'mis-type' a number. I think you can use any number but for this example I entered:
0 #
It will realise you've entered the wrong info and say try again, so do the same again eg:
0 #
Obviously it says the same again and ask you to have another go, so do it one more time.
0 #
It will then say something along the lines of 'you seem to be having trouble topping up, to start again press 1, for help please call customer services on 4445, to hear that again press * or to end this call press 3.
Notice that it doesnt mention that option 2 exists.
So press option 2 and it will take you through to customer services free of charge whether you have credit or not!
