Hi thanks for the quick delivery but i am going to have to return the items. You were advertising 2 DVDs of ON THE BUSES from NETWORK DVD and the pictures were of the NETWORK editions. There was nothing said in the description that they were different editions and you have sent me 2 GRANADA VENTURES editions which is NOT what i paid for. Please send your address again and i will return them for a full refund.Thank You.

Would I be too cynical to assume that they want their money back now they've viewed/copied them?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

i did consider that which is another reason im not happy about taking them back although they were sealed when i sent them whether they are now i dont know, but he would have recieved them on thursday and has only sent the email this evening so the possibility is definatly there.

Where did you get your pics from?My TV is broken!

In a way, the buyer does have a point but I feel Ebay are partly to blame as i assume its a stock photo based on the ISDN number of the DVD.
You may have to bite the bullet on this one, explain the Stock photo situation, how it wasnt your fault and emphasise that when he returns the DVDs Unopened ie sealed and in the condition at which they were sent, you will refund the money and comence a unpaid item dispute to get your fees back.
Ask him to confirm that the items are still sealed in an email to you so it can be used against him if he returns them opened.
If he contends that he had to view them, then thats his loss because the email he sent you, that you have posted here seems only to suggest he is annoyed that the DVD distributor is different. If distributor name is on the case he needn't have opened them to find that out.
If he has, he cannot expect a full refund as he is not returning them in the condition at which they were sent.
I'd love to find out if he is trying it on though0 -
Fay it is an ebay stock photo. Had it of been different i would have replaced it with a picture of the item.
loafer he is actually wrong though because they are infact network editions and not granada editions as he is stating this is why i cant understand it

Personally I wouldnt refund them!
As previous posters suggest that if he wants a refund they must be returned in the same condition as he paid for them - new and sealed! if he decides to do a paypal dispute and wins it he would have to return them to you at his cost by a trackable means!
Can I also be blonde and ask - whats the difference between a network edition and a granada edition?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
as far as im aware there is no difference anyway!
he chose to pay by postal order rather than paypal and he sent it crossed and it hasnt even cleared yet!
I dont want to refund him coz it was exactly as described and the same edition as the picture, therefore he knew what he was bidding on so i cant understand why he is saying this unless it was actually the granada editions that he wanted and didnt read it properly
the more i think about it the more its confusing me tbh!

They are trying it on. As long as you have the correct EAN number then I cannot see that you have done anything wrong, but if he does want to return in the original packaging, maybe you could consider refunding minus costs.0

If thats the case do you think that maybe he has some lesser valued Granada editions that he is trying to fob you off with and keep your network ones?
If the auction is as described, photos and all, and you didnt specify a refund policy then i would stick to your guns. Theres no valid reason for the return except that he has changed his mind.
Luckily you havent entered his feedback yet so he cannot give you a neg without you reciprocating.
If he contends that they are Granada editions, do you by anychance have photos of the originals to prove him wrong. If not, tell him you do anyway! He might back down.
He certainly seems to be a confused individual.0
