activating new phone
anyone know - when you buy a new contract phone and get it by post when does your contract with the network start - if it only begins when you put in sim and turn on phone can you choose when to activate it - i've spotted a cpw deal that would suit me but my original 12 month deal doesnt finish until end october and i'd rather not have 2 contract running simultaneously so i was hoping to get the cpw deal now but not activate it till october - is this poss - thanks

No as normally it gets activated within 72 hours. Buy a contract in october when you can get the lastest now at even better deals.0
