yes, considering they only had 5k, they seemed to do well, unless it was a DFS buy now pay when you replace it deal0

I watched it, and survey was the word on my mind, plus the 'well' in the basement, surely that must have rung alarm bells?
But I do wonder how much might have been set up, as they had a telly programme to make.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

They havent been giving more airtime to people spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on things they have barely looked into (edit: have they? - trailed off mid sentence lol).
I'm amazed why BBC (Homes under the Hammer) give so much airtime to those clowns who buy a house without ever viewing it, never mind surveying it!0 -
I would like to make a feature of my well in the basement.
Well left to its own devices it makes a wonderful swimming pool.
Why did Beeny ask why about the survey? And did C4 sack the continuity person as Beeny managed to make the whole programme without falling pregnant or colouring/cutting the hair.0 -
I have not seen the programme but I'm not surprised by the fact that she didn't get a survey done.
2 of my friends have/are buying property and do not see the necessity in having a survey done since the place 'look' okay.
For the sake of an extra £300, I certainly wouldn't take the risk...0 -
She was pregnant at one point!
I spent most of the programme distracted by her bump, or times lack of it!
That lady is one baby making machine - or at least it seems that way!0 -
I love Beeny she is ace - I liked the point when she was shifting the timber into the skip with a big bump and the bloke was struggling x0

I missed it, but have no TV.
Which channel was it on?0 -

Only a small minority of buyers have a survey done.0
