    .Beechie is home "just for the weekend" ..but a shadow of his former self.:(:(.

    I am distraught.....he won;t eat unless forced.....which for Beechie means ...."I have given up" :eek::eek:

    Well, I'M NOT giving up .(and neither is the vet) ..he's a silly woose....(Beechie that is :D)

    It's horrible though....he has lost his personaility...and we are at the stage of just egging him on to "fight to survive". He is not in any distress.....but not eating is ...well....pretty pants for a piggie.

    Nevertheless..he is comfortable [STRIKE](y comatose)[/STRIKE] ..so we will see what tomorrow brings

    Sending loads of prayers to "'im oop thar"

    also sending prayers for poor little Beechie, i hope he finds his fight and ommph, maybe being back at home and hearing you and his other piggie friends will reach his little memory banks and remind him that he wants to get better.

    Give him time. And remind him where the syringe *can* go if he doesn't behave... :naughty:

    This is horrible...he's got a big swelling on his previous beautifully-healed scar...and he's not in distress or pain ......but he's really not responding at all to food/water...........So (and breathe)..... he's going back to vets tomorrow.....(to consider whether to help him to The Bridge :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:()

    Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!...I can;t believe he's given up after everything he 'n me have gone through and recovered from over theses last two years....

    Bless him.....I'mstill not giving up unless we reach the "nothing more we can do" fron the vets

    Beechie boy....the worst is over now......you are back...you are currently painand bloat- free etc etc....and all your piggie frends are wheeking encouragement..(well OK maybe they;re more interested in their veggies) ....but please please fight to stay with your family now

  • Awww Wol Hunni....sending extra big ((HUG)) . Settle Beechie down for the night & give him a big cuddle....he is home with you now & has been through so much these last few weeks that he is bound to be a bit unsettled.

    Be strong for him & know that you are doing your absolute best to will him on.

    ~Awwwwww Wol *blots tear or two*. so so sorry for you. After such positive news on the job front, to have this with Beechie is so hard. But we know you will do what is right for Beechie even if it means letting him go......:(

    Hello Wol .... I'm reading both your sets of news in one go for some reason - great about the interview and its follow up, awful to hear about Beechie struggling. I hope the night has been good and he's come round a bit ....

    :cry::cry::cry:

    Beechie deteriorated very suddenly this morning...(thankfully we were already in the right place waiting to see the vet). He was very peacefully helped to The Bridge by Vulture Vet in a way I havent seen before that was very dignified and stress-free for both of us.

    So "Him wot dunnit"....that little tyke who, (by his actions in chewing through my hand two years ago) was the indirect instigator of Wol's diaries...is now eating all the veggies he wants at Rainbow Bridge.
