Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2
They are just expensive tyres, always have been!
And yes main dealer prices, since the cheapest I can get them for is £554 but still a lot of money for something I feel should be resolved by the dealer.0 -
How many miles have you done between buying and now......surely the mileage done in between would prove that it hadn't been your miles that had caused this?0

I completely agree, and this was my side of the arguement. The degradation of the tyres happens over a period of time months and even years. Most common in vehicles that have been standing for long periods outside i.e. Caravans.
I put this to Citroen UK but they kept stating it would difficult for me to prove.
I think the opposite, I think it would be easy to prove that these tyres 'could not' have weathered like this in the 2 weeks since buying the car.0 -
Thanks you for the above reply, I know that Linda Jackson is the new MD for Citroen UK but so far I have been unable to find a direct contact for her.0

Suggest that you escalate and complain to Jonathan Goodman, UK Managing Director for Peugeot/Citroen via sending him an email at jonathan.goodman@peugeot.com.
Good luck and hope this helps.
Getting ridiculous.
What do you think he is going to do about it?0 -

No probs. Her email address is linda.jackson@peugeot.com. jonathan.goodman@peugeot.com email address is still active and will be monitored. Suggest that you send email to both and mark email 'FOR THE ATTENTION OF UK PEUGEOT/CITROEN MD ONLY'.
Hope this helps and good luck.:)
Thank you once again.
