Orange Dongle & Netbook

Hi All,

I have a dongle and netbook from orange, I would prefer to use a diffrent provider. Do I need to get the dongle unlocked to use a different sim for internet access or can I just buy another dongle from a different network ? If I do buy another dongle would it work ok with the netbook ?

You can do either or both. Up to you. Though if you are in contract with Orange, you will still have to continue to pay them. Obvious, I know.

Thanks for the fast reply Donnie. I just wasnt sure if I got a dongle from o2 for example if it would work on the netbook since it came from Orange. Hope that makes sense !

The netbook isn't locked to Orange, since it has no mobile broadband connectivity on it's own, unless it has a built in 3G card. The dongle is.

Thanks macman, theres a 3g card in the dongle so I would assume there isnt one in the netbook. Thanks again.
