"Doesnt say much for your paint job if its coming off with splashing from a jet washer."
It was our old paint that used to come off the walls with a pressure washer. We used a Karcher which was very powerful. As our painter only finished on Friday I dont want anything to spoil our pristine white walls and with a pressure washer dirt would bounce up onto the walls.0 -
Surely you have a guarantee of workmanship?lolly5648 wrote:"Doesnt say much for your paint job if its coming off with splashing from a jet washer."

I've always had the devil of a job in cleaning a paved area at the back of our garden which is shaded/overhung by trees.
There is a a continuous rain of debris and a consequent build up of green algae/moss.
I've tried most things, including some proprietary cleaners which claim to handle just this scenario, without much luck.
Anyone resolved the 'green stain' problem to their satisfaction?0 -

Lord_Gardener wrote:There's a local chap in our area who cleans drives and patios's with a pressure washer. He uses a large sheet of hard board/ply 4'x8' to protect vunerable areas and then gently hoses down any overspray at the end of the job. Shouldn't have an issue with the walls if you don't spray too close to them! Woolies are doing power washers for £14.99 at the moment!
Got one of those as our's had broken!! Very good value reduced from £59.99 at some stage. :j

Again, biological washing powder dissolved in warm water (NOT ABOVE 40C!) and scrubbed in with a garden brush and left for a bit. Then rinsing with waterbud-miser wrote:I've always had the devil of a job in cleaning a paved area at the back of our garden which is shaded/overhung by trees.
