All the stores around here vary. The Halifax Aachen way store will take 5 coupons without a percentage limit, but the self-scan tills beep if you go over 10%. The smaller store in the town centre won't take any coupons unless you buy the product; and the Brighouse store will normally just take 1 coupon, although once the lovely lad on the till asked if I had any more and proceeded to scan all I had in my purse!!!:T Basically it varies from store to store and from checkout operator to checkout operator.

I've had problems with internet coupons in the past so I now only use 'official' (pre-printed) coupons.

Having said all that - Welshy and the others are right - coupon acceptance is a bonus, but not a right, but it gives me a huge kick when they're accepted!

I was in the large Brighouse store a few weeks ago (visiting a relative at the hospital) and they scanned as many coupons as I could give them, over £30 in the end.

A lovely young girl. :j

I think you should try again, maybe on a Saturday?

Ts rang me back and said that their policy is to accept internet vouchers but some shops might impose a limit and suggested that if I had a problem again to get the shop to ring CS. Which I'm sure they wont mind doing while there's a big queue waiting at the checkout.:rotfl:

Its bad enough when they refuse the coupons but I think the rudeness of some of the 'management' is a disgrace.:mad:

I just carry a load of different coupons with me and try at each shop. Sometimes its great and you can save a load. Sometimes they will only take one coupon. I keep some internet coupons and give them over with the other ones.

If you can break the shop up into smaller shops, then you have more chance of using more coupons in a week, but it takes more time.

Today, I used £4.00 worth of vouchers and only purchased one of the products!! (I can see why this becomes addictive)

I mentioned the the SA *I always use her, cos she is lovely* that my vouchers are running out soon and could she try a few? She said "give them all over and I'll try them all for you" They all scanned! there were around 5 50p ones and the rest were 20p ones.

She said "every little helps, next time, just hand over and I'll check them for you" She also gives me 2 points (green points) for bags for life!
