I ordered my phone on the wednesday night and it was delivered on the Friday by courier. I didn't get that message though so I'm afraid I don't know how quickly they re-stock. Sorry.

bairn, give it a few weeks, then ring them back and ask about your extra free flexible booster. Also do a speedtest on your phone to make sure your speed isn't capped at 350kbps...if it is, ask them to remove the cap.

The unlimited has a 1gb fair usage plus a speed cap to around 0.4mbs, the web n walk has 3gb usage and no speed cap.

the 3gb is also unlimted!!! if you reach the 3gb usage they throttle your speed at certain times only thats it! the same thing happens with the 1gb allowance! if you have an android phone you should get the 3gb allowance! however if you buy an android phone on a NEW contract from a reseller it is slightly harder getting put pon the 3gb allwance after a change in t mobiles terms and conditions which now states the 3gb allwance is for direct purchases through them only! so you have lie your way through somehow as apprently now they can tell where you bought your phone from

Well I should be getting my SGS tomorrow so I'll ring them to port my number and see whether I am on 1GB or 3GB.

I am o.k with 1GB however I have heard the speed is throttled which I have an issue with. I mean why do that its silly so I will argue on that to see if they will either put me on 3GB or remove the speed limit if they are able to. Otherwise I assume I have 7 days to return the phone if I am not happy with this.

I managed to get my second android handset changed to 3GB Web & Walk + additional booster on Monday. I called up to port my number, after that was sorted I said "oh while your on, I've checked my account online and seem to have Internet as a booster - I thought it came included with an android handset"

She had a look at it, asked what handset I had. Then asked if I purchased from either T-Mobile online or instore - In light of the new terms thought I'd try it on so I said "err, T-Mobile shop". She did a couple of things again and said "that's odd as its setup wrong but you purchased in-store?" I said "yep...". "Ok i'll sort that out what booster do you want?"

Based on that I dont think they can tell where you purchased, although others have said otherwise. May depend on who you get through to but worth a try if you don't mind lying - I'm going to Hell anyway...:cool:

I received my SGS today...its unlocked and unbranded by the looks of things. My 3 sim works no problems.

Rang t-mobile and asked about the unlimited internet a nice lady explained I have the 1GB booster rather than web n walk, I said I didn't get a choice when selecting ordering...she asked which handset it is and said SGS...she says "I will put you on WnW". Great so now I have checked I am getting about 1.3Mbps speed via speedtest.net app, is that fastest t-mobile currently go or is it just my area?

When I called up, the person actually quoted the name of the company that I bought the phone through. So they definitely know how and where you purchased it. Having said that, they don't seem to take much persuading to upgrade you!
