Cheaper Fuel

in Credit cards
Hi All..
I must say i do enjoy a good supermarket price, more so that they are now fighting over the cost of fuel. To up the stakes it would seem Asda have a credit card that will earn you another 2p / litre off your fuel.
I've applied for one and plan to put all my monthly fuel on it and then pay the full balance off each month. I used to pay £26/week (97.9p / litre) for diesel before the price war.. now its 89.9 (plus another 2p off) so i should see a saving of £4 a week (£208/year!!) :T
Just make sure u setup the direct debit to pay the full balance off each month, otherwise its a waste of time.

Thats well worth it. Sadly for me there are only two Asdas in my area and one is a fair drive and the other in a traffic blackspot area.
Mind you, my dad's a black cab driver so maybe I;ll tell him about it.0 -
If Tesco's price matches Asda's and you use the clubcard points for things like tourist attractions where the points are worth more than the value of them for shopping in Tesco couldn't you make more from the points than 2p in a litre?
Make sure you always pay the Asda bill off on time each month as I've heard the APR is around 19%If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
Hi
Can you use the card in the fast lanes at the pumps? I just tried to use mine and it kept saying unauthorised?
Thanks for any help[IMG][/IMG]0
