using laptops on cross country trains.

I have to undertake the long and arduos journey from Edinburgh to Exeter and find myself being on Cross Country services for both legs of my journey. I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me if Cross Country provide power points to charge laptops in standard class as I know that Virgin Trains and NXEC both provide this. Any information would be appreciated.

you will be lucky to get a signal on board the x country train the voyagers have got heat reflective windows that seriously reduce mobile signals,if you get a hst you may be ok.

Ok thanks for that Johny. The 2 legs are between Edinburgh and Birmingham and then Birmingham and Exeter which is their main route so I would presume that it would be H.S.T's operating on the route.

Don't count on it, HST's are rarely used by CrossCountry and they don't have many of them. However they are used on the route you are travelling so you may get lucky.

Hello ollie, MODS have not got round to checking the reports others made against you being a troll yet - but they will soon, don't worry.

    Thank's for your advice though
