Somebody has very kindly given me the email address of the MD of Homebase, so I have sent him a very detailed letter this morning and am eagerly awaiting his reply.
But not holding my breath!!0 -
OP ignore this deluded troll, do you really think that the CEO has time to be reading customer complaints.
The email will just end up getting passed on by a secretary to the customer service, if it doesn't get loss that is.
Others have given you better advice about contacting the card company.

Yes I have read them all, thank you all for your comments. I am waiting to see if I get a reply from the MD. Failing that I will contact my credit card company this afternoon.0

Got in from work to find a message on my answer phone from Homebase managing director's secretary, offering their sincere apologies about the way I have been treated by customer services. They are posting me a cheque tomorrow recorded delivery for the full amount and the 10% discount...RESULT!!0

But emailing the MD's never works, they never read them and only ever get passed back to the customer services
