hello.
is there any one else who uses hotpop (email).
i have not been able to send mails.
i can receive mails.
anyone else getting this?

Do you get a port 550 realy error or similar? This is because of a rule that you can receive from any pop boxes but you can only send using the smtp box of the isp you are currently using to connect to internet. There are a few exceptions to this such as Gmail.Sarah x0 -
sorted it out, but do not understand why?
i use hotpop as my email.
i use metronet as my isp (adsl)
i did have mail settings as: smpt.hotpop.com and this worked.
this week i stopped being able to send mails, could receive.
after reading metronets support have changed smpt to metronet.0
