first plus do contact us everytime there is an interest change, etc, so it does seem unusual that you havent heard anything,

We were bullied into taking out the ppi, the usual, you may well be turned down if you dont take this out and you will get a nice lump sum in 5 years. For once though this did go in our favour as unfortunately I developed a serious long term illness a year after taking the loan out and have been unable to work since and they have paid the loan no problem and will continue for the next two years.

Please phone them, they are open untill 8pm, you are only asking for a statement of your account! and ask for a settlement as well. They give you these in writing so there is nothing to worry about. x
  • What I find odd is that the OP have not received any correspondence from FP. Do you think the OP have fallen off their system and the money is going into a miscellaneous account?

'OP' means 'original poster' - ie, the person who started the thread. In this case: you!

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

Hi there, that could very well be, but on fpc site there are people who have no interest rate rises for a time, think this all depends on what clause you have in your agreement.I have had no corrospondence either from this company in five years, but i think if your loan is running smoothly there is no need for this.It only came into force last year that you had to receive a yearly statement.

Just take a deep breath and ring. Whats worse, actually knowing or worrying about what might be when it may not be as worse as you fear?
After all whether you find out or not the amount will still be the same, not knowing wont make it dissapear, I only say this cause I was in a similar position regarding credit cards and although it came as a shock to see it in black and white, it gives you a sense of being more in control .

Go on you CAN do it
