Did my usual Elvis walk to work, it's a nice walk which includes some fields and now a cute foal which is very friendly LOL
Sold some memory at Computer Exchange which I no longer needed so that will run the car for the week hopefully, we have an old Volvo which only manages about 25mpg so I'm desperate to change it.
On Saturday we did a huge shop at Iceland which only came to £50, this will feed most of us for at least 2 -3 weeks and would've come to at least £100 when we used to shop at Asda every night.
Trying to buy a VW Passat TDI which is going cheap due to some damaged paintwork, I would spend a few weekends doing that and hopefully save about £600 on the price of a nice one. A pack of wet and dry only costs about 2 quid so if I can get it for cash, I will be happy.
Anyway, morning all :-)"We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
Well, how chuffed am I with myself!?!
Just been for my first run in about 5 years and it actually was OK! The first 5 mins was horrible but I preservered and found a pace and amazingly it turned out to be quite enjoyable.:j (energetic bouncing person - definitely not the real me now!)
Stuck it for a full 30 mins and feel ok. We;ll see what I'm like tomorrow.
I used to quite enjoy it and did a few charity 5km things and one 10km so maybe I'll get back into it?
Dog is now pooped - ran around fields so he could stop and sniff and have a rest but still see me but he seemed to want to do it too - he's flopped on the sofa now "warming down"! (As am I!)0 -

Well done Rachelmk... brilliant that you managed 30 minutes on your first go after 5 years :T.I started running just over a year ago and am now a complete convert. It just makes me feel so great after each run.

How do you sell books on Amazon ? Is it worth it?
Just strating on this and I am proud to say I am a newbi debt free wannabe.
I have a confession to make though... I am scared to look at my bank account! Does anyone else suffer from this stupid thing?!!
Heard two good ones yesterday to get some money in
Musicmagpie.com- just put your barcodes in and they give you a price for dvds, cds and games. At the least 30p, but some I have got £3 for. Worth doing it to get rid of some clutter! :T
Also, rag and phone man, on the internet - they will pick up clothes you want to get rid off, and pay you 50p a kilo. :j

Evening all
Another quiet one for me today -- Checked online banking and all looking ok
- Checked Valued Opinions and my pending credits when I get them will be enough for another voucher
- Took lunch from home again
- Didn't eat chocolate :eek: which meant that I didn't buy any so making this NSD number 6 for the month so far
- Resisted the urge (and it was a whopper) to use a wee bit I have saved to buy a Kindle. After much thinking I realised I wanted it rather than needed it. Feeling very angelic :A
- My turn to take in goodies to work today so yesterday I made Twink's hob nobs for the first time. All I can say is OMG:eek:. They are the most wonderful biscuits ever and no matter how good anyone on these forums says they are, it isn't true - they are better:T:T:T. Best of all they are so cheap to make!
- All housework finished that wasn't done at the weekend
