Wiping info from a Blackberry........

Hi
I have a curve 8520 that Ihave sold on ebay. If I delete contacts and photos, do I simply need to remove the sim to stop the emails from coming to it?

Basically, I do not know when I set up the Blackberry internet service and getting the emails onto it if that was done via the phone itself or just the sim card?

Many thanks

I have the Curve 8900, hopefully yours should be the same. Go to Options > Security Options > Security Wipe and select the options you require.

Just make sure you get all the contacts and information you need before you do the wipe!! Also got into your BIS and remove your email addresses so they are not forwarded to you phone.

I did the same to my Pearl 8100 and it reset it to factory settings.
