The fish tank needs a clean etc too..I bought some new plants to go in there yesterday, the ones I've got aren't doing too well & are looking a bit dodgy..they get plant food weekly & I've just ordered some carbon dioxide liquid stuff too so hopefully that'll help.. Fish tanks are definately not MSE its cost me a fortune & its only a little one!!

  • Hello
Haven't posted daily as mostly lurking, don't feel I ever do much and am shamed of my uselessness.
So today I reviewed the weeks lists and can honestly say I have done to level one most days and odd amounts of level 2. My main downfall is floors. In bedrooms because of clutter, downstairs because the hover lives upstairs. OH did the hovering this week but starts a new job Monday so it will be down to me.
Much washing done today and am still trying to get it dry for when DD returns and needs to pack it for hols. Think a row might ensue. Gulp.

    Hi!

We got back from our hols at midnight last night, so had a lie-in this morning. Since then I've unpacked the cases (lots still needs putting away), read a bit of fred, started on Mt Washmore, visited friend down the road and went to Mr T with DH and DS2. DS1 has been out since dinner time, catching up with mates. He was supposed to let me know if he was going to be late for tea, but no message/call and no sign of him yet. I've send two texts and tried to phone, but no joy.

Hope you are all well. I'm going to meet DH in the pub at half ten if DS1 is back by then - until then more washing and drying. Tomorrow a trip to Costco, putting away of things and starting The Great Declutter. Can't put up with this place any longer, so the rest of the family can get ready, as they'll be put to work. Have a good evening, everyone. xxx

ETA DS1 came in just before 10pm - had his phone stolen around teatime. Thieving barstewards! I've got the numbers for two people who were phoned with his phone since it went missing. Both talked to me, but I'm not holding out much hope. We really want the sim card back, because of the numbers and photos (DS2 with Stitch in Disneyland). Off to bed in a minute - night all!

There are flashes inthe sky, so I think we are in for lightening.

are you sure it isn't the perseid meteor shower? We have seen a few here, but there is too much light pollution to get a good view :(

Tired and ready for bed but feeling too full. Me and OH went for a curry (actually persuaded my mum to watch the twins for a couple of hours!)

    Welcome home Serena

    Morning ladies.

Been up and about a while due to OH snoring .

On the up side, I have put the WM on , pegged out some washing and stuck a brioche loaf in the BM :)

Hi Serena. Hope you had a great time.

No news on DS1's phone. :( Breakfast decluttered, so I'll have a couple more minutes on here. Then washing, waking DH and getting off to Costco. We'll probably go to M'hall on the way back for a new sim card.

    Morning all,

OH phoned me at about 6.30 last night to say his Sister was home from France so did we want to go and visit them. Que a mad half hour, Ds2 needed a shower as he had cake mixture in his hair, i needed to get changed, the cake needed drizzling, the dw needed loading, my bed needed to be remade, the rabbits had to be put to bed and there was still dust from the plaster board all over the carpets. And OH wondered why i sounded reluctant when he phoned.

I took the lemon drizzle cake with us and didn't even get to taste it, but it went down well. I'm going to have to make another one today though as Ds2 was upset he didn't get any.

We didn't get back until 11.30 so Ds2 slept in until 9.45 this morning which was very nice.:D

I've fed the rabbits & let them out and put some gammon in the SC. I'm just going to have another coffee and then i'll make a start.
