*Bumbles in and grabs a huge pawful of G&B's plastic spoons*:D

Jjef ouchie ouchie ouch! Rest, recuperate, and supervise while your OH does the tidying!;)

Fedupandskint aww, sorry you're feeling sad and lonely; I know the feeling well, it's rotten. (((HUG)))

Toots I hope you're feeling a bit better today; you don't think you're trying to do too much in a short space of time, do you? Just reading your "to do" lists makes me tired!:D

Winchelsea oh, poor you:(; I remember a friend of mine having shingles - she was not a happy chicken! Look after yourself, and hope you feel better soon.

Mr LW has helped me get the bed changed, and he's also hoovered the whole bungalow, so we're a bit ahead of ourselves ready for next week's lists.:o I've nipped out with Penny in between the showers, and we've had a lovely game with her ball.:D I'll certainly miss her when she goes home on Tuesday.:o

We've had egg fried rice for our dins - which, in our house, is a good way of using up bits'n'bobs from the fridge! It's one of those recipes where we use Wolfie's Famous Bung Method.... that is to say, bung everything in and hope for the best!:D It tasted good though, which is what counts.:o

Penny's now flaked out on the sofa, and Mr LW has his nose in the Daily Telegraph, so I suppose I'd better go and empty the WM which has just finished. Sadly, the washing will have to go on the A-frame over the bath, but it can't be helped.

    Later, folks.:o

    Hi,

I've put the chicken in the oven for tea and have made some Queenie's everyday biscuits and a lemon drizzle cake. Bang goes my diet then.
I've also cleaned up the kitchen twice and loaded the dw.

Thanks everyone who has wished me well today, bub seems ok now - being sick is obviously tiring as apart from half an hour around lunchtime he's been asleep all day!

I have had a mega headache so have done nothing but empty and reload the wm and pritt-stick some wallpaper back on the wall after DS1 pulled it off :wall: but my Dad has just announced a surprise visit tomorrow so I at least need to hoover through and declutter the toys from the conservatory floor, but it can wait unless DS is in bed or the morning :)

Just thought, bub is exactly a month old tomorrow, it's going too quickly!
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,

  • WOooah, what a busy day, I have totally blitzed the kitchen. All appliances cleaned and polished; every surface wiped down, paintwork and skirting wiped, under units hoovered, storage drawer of oven emptied cleaned, door removed to get to all the gunk hiding, cleaned then replaced, basically if it could be cleaned .. it was cleaned. Even cleaned the windows inside and out (yes I know it was raining but I know they have been done) Only thing left is main light fitting but impossible to clean in situ need DH to remove so I can clean it, that'll have to wait cos he is on a CBA day today.
Shoved a fruit loaf in BM that finished just before me so have sat and decluttered BM:T as a treat.

Also done odd bits elsewhere, hoovered LR and spruced cushions, wm x2 td x2 dw x2 made beds watered h baskets. Now going to organise all warranties/ guarantees for appliances etc into a file. Triple bill of prison break tonight so must get done before then.

Love the spoons pic ...just don't understand the 'spoon' thing. Anyone?

(((Hugs))) to all those in need

Sunbeams to all those on hols

    Catch you all later
