Hulloo everyone,
I am a certified lurker around MSE, but I think this thread is the kick up the bum I need to keep on top of things with the house! When it comes to housework I tend to procrastinate (I spent about an hour reading the thread last night before deciding I'd post tomorrow lol). I had a baby 3 weeks ago and slowly getting back on top of things, at the moment the house is relatively tidy as we had relatives visit for the weekend so I had to get it clean! But unless I take action it will soon disintegrate into CHAOS again, so I'll give it a try!

Went to Hastings on Saturday with BF and my niece. It was lovely
Oh, mumofjusttwo, you make me quite envious - we lived in Hastings for donkey's years - only moved away because the grown-up kids had all moved miles away, so went where we could see more of them. We lived on the side of the West Hill, and looked out (from our top windows) over the town and across the bay towards Eastbourne. Still miss the sea!
Hope everyone is OK this morning and Flying well (new mums excepted - from the Flying bit that is!). I haven't done much yet - various phone calls, printed off a receipt and found I had to change BOTH ink cartridges - then I always order new ones when one runs out - etc, etc.
Will have lunch then go to see DH, and do my Fly jobs later.
Had a nice day yesterday - after my breast screening I went to Bristol (can't at this moment remember who on here lives there). I ate my nice packed lunch on the bus on the way. Got some useful remnants in Fabricland to put in the quilt I'm making for DH. It's the first time I've been in the new one - more choice than the old one across the road had - I'll be back!. Explored the nearby charity shops but (amazingly) spent nothing, and bought a couple of little things from Poundland.
Then I got the 48 bus up to IKEA to look for curtain rings, found them, had my free cup of coffee etc. By this time it was 4.30, so I phoned DS, who lives in Easton - he'd just got home, so I walked over and spent a couple of hours with him.
Good day out - spent not a lot!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
