What a lovely name but you do realise that she will always be squeak until she decides that she is too old for it and you can tease her with it..

DD1 is still 'bunny' at 16.. nuff said?? lol

Pigpen~~ I like the names, was there much debate with OH over them, or did you both sort of agree??

I decided I was bored of calling her 'the baby' so she had to have a name.. he veto'd myrtle monkeyface so he had to choose lol.. we had got it down to 6 names which were not really interchangable...

  • Well, foot bruised but usable so i cracked back on with the office blitz. Been stopped in my tracks though by sight of silverfish:eek:. So searching forum madly for ways to exterminate. Just thrown half a bottle of malt vinegar over the floor where they were squiggling for starters. problem is office area now smells like a chip shop! That'll teach me to pile everything under the desk for years and ignore.

Eurgh Silverfish creep me out. OH is always bollocking me for leaving the worktops wet after washing up. We sometimes get them sneaking up from behind the sink. Will have to try the vinegar trick

Have 'pottered' today, place doesnt look too bad though.

    Nice to see you jjef:T

I like the name Piggers, and by the time she is older, ftw probably won't be used anymore anyway. Though you do have to be a little careful with initials, i wanted Grace as DD's middle name, but her initials would have been EGG which would have been a bit cruel:D

Just had dinner, then going to bath DD and remove her dressing - wish me luck:eek:

    Hya all again,
Pigpen like the names and the spellings - that'll tax her teachers.
    Hope foot is OK icabbage
Hope all goes well with daughter GnB
2 loads washed, hung out, dried and now in and folded. 4 dw unloads and 3 loads - just starting the 4th load.
1 big (double door, floor to ceiling) cupboard totally de-cluttered. 4 big bags for recycling / chucking. DH going to make shelves in there which will help to organise stuff. Need to be ruthless (I'm a bit of a hoarder to be honest!)
Cheers to all - I'm finding this place really helpful. Might do the porsche I mean porch in a moment.

    ooh

I have had a major meltdown which I will assume was hormonal because it was accompanied by blind rage/fury/anger/irrational thoughts. Not helped by kids platying footy in the garden then leaving the ball and cones out. So I put them in the bin. they are now in the shed. DS is 17 next month - I expect him to tidy up after himself. Anyway done MY ironing. Left ALL DS's in the basket...

Not helped by my knocking a bottle of olive oil onto the floor, which, unitl it hit the deck, had been almost full. Anyway having tried and failed to scrape it up with a spatula I dropped cat litter on it (clean, from the bag) to absorb the worst then mopped with BOILING water...
