I've remembered why i haven't flown for a while. It is blinking hard work to do it properly, and the kids trash quicker than i clean. I've been proper mardy with them today.

Oh well. At least i know it will be clean even if there are toys out.

Valli I didn't get the thing about the film - and who was the pet? I have obviously missed loads and loads.
  • Decided to blitz the office area today but am having a temporary pause after I dropped lumping big laser printer on my foot .
Might just have to go and pamper with a hot chococolate (and all the little marshmallows).

Mega-ouch!:( I hope it's ok, not broken or anything (the foot, I mean - laser printers can be replaced, feet aren't so easy).

aw what a lovely name piggers, hows are you doing anyway? Coping with all the madness still at home? x

Well the cleaning spree is still happening and managed to leave all the clothes on the while its been raining, typical.
Still haven't finished the fornt room. But snips (DS2) is done and totally dusted. Made him sort through all the toy boxes. So now have a very empty (well compared to what it was ) room. Threw out two black bags of rubbish, mainly broken toys, and put a load up on freegle.

Now just waiting for coddy (DS1) to finish sorting his room out. Right back to the battle ground.

    Hi All
Hope everyone is well? Things here going OK, although we went shopping for school uniform today, which has led to a certain DD moping about for most of the day... *rolleyes*

Anyway, I've been flying and have done the following....

    Mond
ay - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One

[STRIKE]Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Wipe and water the plants
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Vacuum the floor now it is visible[/STRIKE]
Dust the fireplace.. does the fire need a service before winter? or the chimney sweeping?.. sort it then!
No fire, but dusted behind radiators.
    [STRIKE]Wash smelly soft furnishings.[/STRIKE]
Clean any glass and mirrors and shiny things
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves![/STRIKE]
    Wipe sofas and dusty places
    HHC in the porch

I've also done 3 x loads of washing and bunged them on the line (although it's chilling down for some rain now), an hour's ironing, tidied the kitchen round (yet again), moved a chest of drawers from DDs room to ours, sorted through bags of clothes to sell/charity/dump and done my dailies. Phew....thought I'd been busy! I think I've earned a couple of glasses of wine tonight :D.

I'm off to dish up the dinner - slow cooker casserole, so no effort there then! And then I've got to bake a couple of things so that I can feed my sister/nephew tomorrow...

    Take care all
    D
    xx

Same here, and it definitely looks like rain. Let me know when it gets to you and I'll bring mine in :D:p

Haven't managed to get much work done so far today. Might walk up to the shop as we need salad stuff... and its a good excuse not to do any work for a bit :o

OK, I have officially ran out of steam. Time to relax for an hour before DP gets home from work, living room and kitchen will get a lick and a promise later but upstairs is tidy and accessible for double glazing people tomorrow. Downstairs windows just need furniture and gibble shoved out the way when I get up in the morning.... now got to figure out what to do with the dogs while they are here. hmmmmm......

I am ploughing through heaps of receipts. I am behind with key things finance wise, have mislaid the receipt for the dentist, which I need to claim back what I paid, also need to validate a PC world collect at store with quidco and can't find the receipt/code I need...and it seems to have happened over the last two months (*ahem* *cof*) can't think what's distracted me :rotfl:
    it'll be the kitten;)
we need salad stuff do we GB? I get it - economies of scale and all that;)
