Welcome home Toots, bet you are glad to be back in your own home:A
Dressing is off:T It is usually a trauma and a half getting it off, but i dabbed round the edge of it with olive oil while she had her dinner and then put her in the bath and it peeled right off:D Wound looks really good underneath, just dissolvable stitches and steristrips left now. They'll come off in their own time.
Have cleared most of the dinner dishes away, just a few wee bits and pieces to wash. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Corr i have not stopped today. I feel like a dirty mare the muck we shifted today. I say we as the kids tried to help but were more hindrance. I feel so happy to be back, though finding it hard to follow whos doing what.
I take it that GnBs daughter has just had another op? Glad it seems to have gone well. And was that a hint that Valli has a fella? Jjef - sorry to hear about your FIL. I thought i hadn't seen much of you on FB lately.
Right check time, and then psyche myself up and get a bit of ironing done i think.

I'm in again, and don't need any mules flinging at me tonight as I'm quite happy with how my list is looking and am busy researching my holiday (which is one of my extras).

Freja is a lovely name pigpen.
Hope you're feeling calmer soon Valli - had a minor meltdown of my own last night after OH didn't eat the dinner I spent 2 hours making, and then when I went to put away his freshly ironed t-shirts (which I usually leave for him to put away) I found all the other t-shirts which I have ironed previously just screwed up in the drawer  I am going to be doing considerably less ironing from now on (ie mine only! and he doesn't know it yet muahahaha)
gnb glad your DD's dressing is off with less trauma than usual and it sounds like it is healing nicely.
I know I've missed loads off here but am too distracted by finding places to visit.
Thanks as ever to flylady central for the thread.

am feeling better now which is probably a good thing as my mum has been texting me with *important* information all evening.
Apparently it's hot in Budapest right now...
and the Thursday we're there we're busy...
and I am trawling through quidco looking for cheap travel insurance with cashback...

evening all.
Not very productive on the living room today but I did get the enormous pile of clean clothes sorted. Got a huge chunk ironed as well!
Glad you are home Toots.
Love the babys name Pigpen!
Will concentrate on the kitcjen tomorrow once I've cleared out the hallway. Looks dreadful. I've still not properly unpacked from the holiday.
AF is due. Always makes me have the CBA's!
Having the chilsren home doesn't help either, lol!
The older 2 are off to nannies for a week on Saturday. I shall blitz their rooms while they're away!!!
Good night all

Managed to clean out the airing cupboard today, few duvet covers to be put on freecycle and bits for the rag bag day at school when it comes around.
Will be busy tomorrow. Spent the last four camping, and was busy baking today as I bought a new toy (food processor), so cake and cookies all round.
So, will make up for lost time tomorrow. Counting down the days until the cherubs are back in school (6 to go)Payment a day challenge: £236.69

Welcome home Toots, it's good to have you back, how are you feeling?
OH turned up just as i posted so i was back up and down the ladder with buckets of rubble. I was trying to mulitask and keep an eye on Ds2 and load the dw at the same time but as soon as i started anything i'd hear " Mum bucket!"
Dailies are just about done, my ironing pile needs some serious attention tough before it takes over the utility room again. I feel all behind today.
