Not very DFW but one of my things on my list was to play poker online for money!
lol. I have opened a skybet account and deposited £5 last friday to play a few poker games. Then this tuesday sky bet rang me up to check everything was okay as i have deposited some money but hadn't played anything yet!! I explained i wanted to play poker with it but needed a free evening. He laughed and added £2 to my account as a gift from them!! So now i have £7 to play poker with!
Need to have a gander at my list and see if there is something i can work on.
I may look at getting some bargain xmas crafts in the new year so i can make my own xmas cards for xmas 2011!
Love the list kdenty! Welcome to the board
I think changing a couple of things if you need to is fine. If you have put down to do something on your list that you really don't want to do anymore then it is such a big waste to be using a space where you could have something a bit more inspirational.
After all the list is about doing things that you really want to do and giving you the direction to do them!Orange Fairy

Thank's Littlekel. I noticed on your list you put 'sell your CD's'. I got rid of my collection 100+ using Musicmagpie. Probably not the best money reward but it worked out better than ebay. If you have any old obscure stuff it can be £3 per CD (like old classical music and 70's music). I made about £17 per box of 30 Cd's I sent. I gave 3 large bags of Cd's to my local charity shop before this. I just didn't realise they would be worth anything.0

I would like to join what a great idea. At the beginning of each year i always say what i would like to do within the next 12 monthes but never seem to do much, writing it down makes it seem more real and achievable. Love looking at some of the lists and they are really helpful, just started my list and want to get going on it.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

Welcome to the gang amber!
I started my list on 1st January last year instead of having New Year's resolutions. For many years I have had a "Goals for 2002/03/04" type lists as I find I only stick to resolutions for a few weeks. This year I thought I would do the 101 things list instead. It also means I don't have to write lists for the next two Januarys either.
I know it's the run-up to Christmas, but I finished writing my list during the quiet time betwen Christmas and New Year and there was plenty of time to reach 101 things. If you look at mine, much of it is large projects split into small chunks. For example there are six tasks to finish the allotment and nine tasks to do with setting up my corsetry business. I have done this as I find huge projects daunting.
The important thing is to keep the ideas "real". as I said in an earlier post I'd love to walk the Great Wall of China, but I know the finances won't be there for well over 1001 days, so I didn't add it to my list - but maybe on the next 1001 days list??? :cool:Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. Kept awake last night thinking about things i want to include on my list, i have kept it doable and realistic obviously there are things i would like to do but are not achievable at present, maybe in 3 years time when i am in a better position financially i will be able to do a new list.
here is my list so farhttp://dayzeroproject.com/user/amber03:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
I love the idea of taking a walk at midnight. I live in the countryside and we don't get much light pollution, so when it's dark, it's very dark. I'll have to nab that idea for my next list.;)Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0

Tonight I have baked cupcakes so I'm well on my way to
17 Bring in cupcakes for my work collegues
If we get snowed in tomorrow my OH will have a right result (30 + cupcakes just for him) lol
I've bought a logic puzzle book and i'm really enjoying it (I loved logic puzzles as a child) - it's my equivalent of doing a jigsaw. I think my cat would destroy a jigsaw, probably chew the pieces.
I've put a picture of some of the cupcakes on my own diary thread

Those cupcakes look delicious! Your workmates are really lucky.
I have 11 days off over Christmas so I'm going to look at a few tasks on my list and see what I can achieve. I'm annoyed with myself that I've nearly reached the end of my first year and crossed so few off. Still, life gets in the way sometimes.....Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound.
