Hand in the air to admit i didn't complete 'don't log into facebook for a week'. My little niece was born last monday so i wanted to shout about that and also i was arranging a girls night out so needed facebook to contact them!! Excuses excuses i know!!
At the moment i am comletely 'one photo a day for a month'
All good at the moment. Except on day i forgot until really late and the only thing i could think of was to take a picture of was my father xmas prnament who i had broken his head off!! Not really that festive! lol So a bit disappointed with that day! I want to take a good photo each day!! Though on that day i did actually take a pic on my girls night but with someone elses camera so i suppose it still counts! I'll have to get her to email it to me! x

I'm nearly at the end of my first twelve months and I'm a little disappointed at how few I have crossed off. However, I had written my list whilst I was revelling in my freedom and wealth due to redundancy. I have been back at work for 6 months in a low paid job and am finding I don't get much "me" time now.
The December payments have left my bank so I can cross two tasks off:
(50) - Pay off Tax Credits Overpayment was done on 06.12.10 :j
(51) - Pay £3000 off loan was done on 03.12.10. Just ten months left of a 7 year loan. There is light at the end of this long dark tunnel!
I've taken some time to check out some of the ongoing lists. Most of us are hovering around the 13% mark, but La Escocesa has ticked off 22%. There's loads on josie's list that I know she's completed. I'll have to remind her to mark them as done.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. Wow, Stitching Witch! This is really great. Good on you for getting that overpayment cleared and that loan is going down, down, down!
I had loads of things on my list that I did on honeymoon and a few from the wedding too so managed to get a few ticked off at once...Think the next batch is going to be a bit harder though... Also, there are some that I don't think I'll be able to do (e.g. Sit the other International exam, as my new work doesn't seem to support this one - they'd know I was only doing it so I could walk outta that door and get another job!;))
What's everyone's view on changing ones when new things come up??? Is that strictly beyond the rules? Should I add them to 'someday' and start them when this one ends?? I'd be happy only completing around 70 or so out of the 101...
Big Saturday hugs to all!0 -

good for you stitchyloans are right albitrosis' aren't they? Far too easy to take out and then an eternity of monthly payments  I took one out when I split up with my partner 5 years ago (you know newish car, whole new wardrobe, some weekends away) and I met my oh before I'd even finished paying it off! I can't see I can do many more of mine until the summerish time

ok glad you brought this up La E as there are some on mine that I realise I don't actually want to do and put them down thinking I did when I felt I had to finish the list!what's the consensus? I'm with changing "some" if they are no longer what we want to do? Obviously within reason (oh suggested I change some to things I've already done! :rotfl:)

Mine was taken out when DH left me with 3 teenaged children to bring up. It was to consolidate other debts - if only I'd known then what I know now!! DH moved back in 4 years ago and we were determined to get rid of all the debt until he fell ill and now hasn't worked for two and a half years :eek:determined_new_ms wrote: »what's the consensus? I've had to "tweak" a couple of mine since I started. There are also a few I know will not get done, of the type "do X every month" and I haven't done it EVERY month. I think changing the odd one or two is acceptable, after all, our lives change over the space of 1001 days.
I didn't put anything on my list I knew I was going to do - like the holiday to France, which was booked before I wrote my list, so I think we may have to draw the line at adding things you've already done!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. You guys are truly inspirational. I've just found this thread and Day Zero and I'm loving it. Yet another great thing I've found on these boards. I am totally impressed with those of you who managed to find 101 things. I'm currently stuck at 61 but I'm sure I will get there slowly. I once read somewhere if you make a list you are more likely to achieve your goals. At the time I wrote a list in my diary and it all came true (except for owning a pair of Manola Balniks which I decided was no longer important). This was probably 10 years ago so it's about time I was inspired by a new list. Thank you.
Here is my 101 things...

Hello kdenty, it's nice to have new people join in. I've had a sneaky look at your list. Lots of lovely good ideas there and I should imagine it's all achievable too.
I'm sure a few people haven't managed to decide on a full 101 things yet. I still have one which says "Do something else with Jo" as we can't decide what to do yet. I like the idea of this being a bit flexible.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0
