We went zorbing on my mates hen do too. It was brilliant

just thought I'd mention that makaton isn't sign language for children. It's used for people with learning disabilities who have trouble communicating verbally. British sign language is something different altogether. I thought I'd mention it in case it was on the list as a way to communicate with deaf children

all these lists might inspire me to write my own x

Morning starnac. To be honest, I did know it wasn't the same as I started learning Makaton whilst working in a special needs nursery with autistic children. I just sort of generalised on my list for those that hadn't heard of Makaton and might have thought it was similar to Macrame! :rotfl:

I didn't get chance to do anything from my list at the weekend as I had a list of 50 housework things to do. I achieved them all so leaving the next week relatively free to do other things. (Can anyone tell I love lists??)

Walked for 5 hours to find these 13 though!!!!!!!! My god i got up this morning and my calf muscles are killing me - and i have to walk to work yet!!! I can't believe the kids walked for that long!

Up and down hills - through crop fields - through sqeulchy mud etc!! I was hard going!! :D:D

Off to update which of my 101 are 'in progress'

  • I have booked a week off work at the end of August and, as well as shampooing the downstairs carpets which isn't on my list, I intend to do the following which are on my list:
    • (90) De-clutter hall and utility room
    • (70) Finish chicken patch
    • (39) Finish building the doll's house exterior
If I can convince DS3 to take a day off work too I also want to do:
    • (31) Climb Salisbury Cathedral tower with Luke
    • (32) Go to Salisbury Museum with Luke
I have loads of tasks that I've started so I need to concentrate on getting a few finished and ticked off! :D
